School Club Tutor – Hillingdon Borough - £25/£35 per hour

 

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING MUSIC TUTORS TO TEACH IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS AROUND LONDON - MOSTLY IN THE HILLINGDON BOROUGH.

THE ROLE

We are looking for passionate and inspiring music tutors to encourage the musical progression and personal development of children.

Delivering lessons in primary schools by combining our unique teaching method with your personal flair.

Giving children the opportunity to have their first ever experience of playing an instrument.

Supporting children during their first live performances.

Maintaining high communication and customer service standards with parents and schools.

Maintaining relationships with multiple schools.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Single or Multi-instrumentalist – competent on at least 1 of: guitar, keyboard, music tech, ukulele.

Must have own transport. A car is recommended in order to travel between different schools.

Music qualification. Degree desirable but not essential.

Teaching qualification or experience.

Be self employed or willing to register once work has started. (help provided)

A current DBS certificate/update service number or willingness to get one before starting work. (help provided)

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with both children and adults.

Outgoing, confident and approachable.

Energetic and enthusiastic with patience and persistence.

Strong independent worker with good time management skills.

Experience of playing in bands desirable.

BENEFITS

Flexible hours available with the opportunity to go full time, working daytimes during the week.

2 hours a week guaranteed, with the expectation to go much beyond this.

 

Term time only. (With the exception of school holiday camps)
